How to Sketch, Draw and Modeling Connecting Rod in Solidworks 2

Previous Steps. Now, we continue about How to Sketch, Draw and Modeling Connecting Rod in Solidwork part 2. Here is the steps.

1. Draw model like shown. Mirror line or use offset command again and add two more circles. 
   
2. Use extend and trim command. So you get this model.
   
3. Extrude cut the sketch 3mm. 
   
4. Make same action to the back side. So this model can you see on each side.
   
5. On the bottom side, insert sketch on the bottom face of body. Draw two circles with diameter 5mm like shown.  
   
6. Use extrude cut command, click through all.
   
7. Use reference geometry command, make new plant, draw two circles more with diameter 7mm. Use extrude command with through all.
   
8. Insert sketch on front face of body. Draw sketch like shown with radius19mm and 21mm. Use circle, line and trim command to help you.
   
9. Use extrude command with 2mm. After that mirror it to the back side or make same action to the back side.
   
10. Use fillet command with radius 2mm to maximize your job.
    

Now your first step to sketch, modeling or draw connecting rod in solidworks have finished. And than you must go to the next step modeling or drawing connecting rod up side to complete your connecting rod.
