How to Assembly Crankshaft Part in Solidworks

In this tutorial, you will learn how to Assembly crankshaft part in solidworks. After in the previoius tutorial, we have finished sketch, draw and modeling main body of crankshaft and also parts of the crankshaft. Now we continue how to assembly all of those parts.

Crankshaft is divide on three part. There are:
1. Main Body of crankshaft
2. Conecting Point up side and
3. Connecting Point bottom side part.

Let us start and enjoy it.

1. Open solidworks program.  Choose new document and Click assembly mode.
   
2. On Begin Assembly tab, click browse. Search your crankshaft file and open it.
   
3. On Assembly menu tab, click insert components command. Click browse and open parts of connecting point up and bottom side. Now, you have all parts of crankshaft.
   
4. On view orientation, click top view.
   
5. We want to assembly on up side first. On assembly menu tabe, click mate command. On mate selections, click edge circle face of crankshaft body and edge circle face of connecting point like shown.
   
   
   
   
   On standard mate, click coincident. It is make face of two circles parallel, you can see if you change view on top view.
   
6. Go to bottom side. Click mate command. On mate selections, click edge circle face of crankshaft body and edge circle face of connecting point like shown.
   
   
   
   
   On standard mate, click coincident. It is make face of two circles parallel, you can see if you change view on top view.
   
7. This is final of your assembly.
